After all, it is your duty

Meeting attendance is critical to keep the station running smoothly by making sure everyone knows what is going on. Even if you miss a meeting, you are still expected to stay on top of events and announcements. Minutes will be linked from this page as they become available, if they become available. If they aren't accessible, please talk to a staff head or another member as soon as you can if for some reason you can't make it to a meeting (see below). DJs especially need to keep track of the time-sensitive issues that are often discussed at general assembly meetings.

General Assembly Meetings

If you're a member of our fine station, you're required 'by law' to attend general assembly meetings or notify the Personnel Director or someone on staff 24 hours in advance (or as early as possible). If you miss more than 2 meetings during a semester without proper excusal, you're in deep pucky. As you can see, there aren't many, so be there! General Assembly meetings are normally held on alternate Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. in one of the lounges just inside the main entrance of the Ceddia Union Building (CUB). If you're lost, the main entrance is on the second (middle) floor of the building across Cumberland Drive from Reisner dining hall.

Staff Meetings

Elected staff members are required to attend staff meetings, which are held on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. when General Assembly Meetings aren't scheduled. Staff members who plan not to attend must submit a weekly brief to the general manager or send someone to report for them. If you're not a staff member, you may wish to keep current by checking the minutes posted above.
