Welcome to the Backroom!
The Backroom is WSYC's member and staff only dynamic site edit program. Through the Backroom, members can easily keep WSYC's content fresh and new. Each member is given their own user account through which they can edit their profile, post information about their shows, review music, or any other number of actions.

If you experience any problems, contact the webmaster at webmaster@wsyc.org. Have fun and don't forget to keep content fresh!

Backroom News & Updates

Sep 18, 2008 Edi Rumano
If you go to "Edit Profile" you can now upload a profile image and view your profile page on wsyc.org. Also, each DJ has their own blog similar to the main blog of the site. I will be adding show information shortly and you will be able to update your show and profile page together.

To update your DJ blog, click "Update DJ Blog" under actions.

Everyone will be recieving their emails with their login info shortly. Some of you have already updated your profiles which is fantastic :-D.

Edit Alumni Page Added, New Text Editor
Sep 12, 2008 Edi Rumano
You can now edit alumni.php, or the alumni page of WSYC.org. Please get on this and update it as soon as possible because it is very old.

Also, I chose a new rich text editor. It takes a little longer to load but its much more powerfull and easier to code. Please update the site!

Welcome WSYC Staff to the Backroom! Right now, the actions are kind of sparse, but there is a lot of room to grow. You can post news to www.wsyc.org by clicking "Post/Edit Main News". You can also change your password, email, and profile information by clicking on the Account links. New features will be added daily. Please start thinking about how you want your individual pages to look (i.e. profile pages or the News page) so that I can start creating them.

The Backroom provides a very strong backbone for WSYC.org to become a fluid, social site. New features are as easy as a click of a button, and there is no reason communication within the station should not go smoothly.

Email me at er7483@ship.edu with any questions!

Thanks!
Edi
